Mike Ashford

Mike Ashford joined the company in 2016 as Director of Operations overseeing Louisiana and Arkansas, with the role expanding to include five other states in the Midwest. Prior to joining Pediatrix® Medical Group, Mr. Ashford gained considerable experience through his leadership roles as a registered nurse and Chief Executive Officer of Dequincy Memorial Hospital in Dequincy, Louisiana. He has more than 20 years of experience in health care leadership, directing and overseeing the delivery of health care. 

Mr. Ashford holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in health care administration and long-term care administration from Texas State University.
