Is infertility or miscarriage related to COVID-19 vaccination?

Some women have refused to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, citing that it causes infertility and miscarriage. According to science, it’s the exact opposite. “There is a lot of false information out there about the vaccines,” said Amy Wetter, M.D., an obstetrician and gynecologist at Northside Women’s Specialists in Atlanta, part of the Pediatrix® family. “One common question to clear up: The COVID-19 vaccines do not cause infertility or miscarriage. The science behind the making of the vaccines makes us confident that the vaccines are not a cause of infertility or miscarriage, and a recent study has confirmed this. It showed that women who had the COVID-19 vaccines were able to get pregnant at the same rates as women who did not get the vaccines.”
