Uvalde Survivor Thanks Surgeon Who Saved His Life

Noah Orona was one of the children shot in the Robb Elementary School mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas on May 24, 2022. He was rushed to Methodist Children's Hospital in San Antonio and immediately put into emergency surgery. A year later, he returned to thank those who cared for him, including Frank Robertson, M.D., pediatric surgeon at Pediatrix® Surgery of San Antonio. “It's good to catch up. We got the call and I'm sure— I assume— that the trauma centers were quite busy and so we of course, we accepted him and took care of him right away,” said Dr. Robertson.
