At week 15 of your pregnancy, you’re a couple weeks into the second trimester. While you’re likely feeling some relief from the first trimester pregnancy symptoms, there are some telltale second trimester ailments, including headaches. "Headaches are a frequent topic of conversation during prenatal visits," said Ellen Smead, a certified-nurse midwife at Northside Women Specialists, part of Pediatrix® Medical Group. Typically, most headaches are not cause for concern. "The majority are uncomplicated and can be helped by increasing water and non-caffeinated fluids as well as giving yourself time to rest," said Smead. “Pregnant people are much more easily dehydrated. This is particularly noticeable during the second trimester of pregnancy, as vasodilation takes place,” she added.
