Cerenity Will was born at 26 weeks weighing under a pound. She spent seven months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital under the care of Querube Santana-Holcomb, M.D., neonatologist, and the team at Pediatrix® Neonatology of Florida. Today, she turned one and is thriving. “I admire those parents, to see how resilient they are,” said Dr. Santana-Holcomb. “I’m a NICU baby myself. This is very close to my heart. Premature babies deserve a chance and deserve for us to research, study and support in every way we can.”
