Las Vegas Valley Sees High Volume of RSV Cases

There is a growing number of RSV vases across Las Vegas Valley. "We're seeing a tremendous volume of viruses right now," said Todd Zimmerman, M.D., pediatric emergency medicine physician at Pediatrix Emergency Medicine of Nevada and Sunrise Children's Hospital. "Specifically, we're seeing a lot of RSV, a lot of flu. We are seeing a little bit of COVID here, and they're starting to spike up again. But really, RSV and flu are the two biggest culprits that we're seeing right now." Dr. Zimmerman that while the virus is typically a mild to moderate illness, they’re seeing it present in a little bit more of a serious fashion now. “We're just really asking parents to be, you know, very watchful."
